Medical Dispute Administrative Support
Job Summary
The Medical Dispute Administrative Support position is responsible for administrative duties within the department and will report to the Medical Dispute Team Leader.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Medical Dispute Team Leader
- Retrieve and print medicals from UniSource and Medical repository
- Calling and appropriately documents communication with peer reviewers/staff
- Enters drafted orders into Core Suite
- Successfully sends completed mini-packets and/or peer reviews/Independent Medical Exam reports to the Bureau Worker's Compensation(BWC)
- Documents in UniSource using the appropriate action codes
- Participates in the training of other medical dispute team members, as needed
- Communicates peer reviewer availability to medical dispute staff members by updating the peer review calendar
- Responds promptly to emails and phone calls
- Completes administrative support checklists and timelines accurately
- Participates in department committees
- Special projects or extra duties as assigned by Management
- Complies with all pertinent Managed Care Organization (MCO) / Bureau Worker's Compensation policies(BWC)
- Complies and adheres to the Medical Dispute Administrative processes
- Understands and upholds Sheakley's philosophy and demonstrates commitment to the Cores Values and Sheakley's
Education and Experience:
- Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a High School education or GED equivalent and/or experience
- No written disciplinary in the past 6 months (for current Sheakley employees)
- Ability to function independently 85% of the time

- Ability to answer high call volume while maintaining accurate documentation
- Completes tasks thoroughly and in a timely manner

- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of
- Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
